Air Transat (TS, Montréal Trudeau) has announced it would launch a new route from Toronto Pearson to Split, becoming the maiden carrier to offer intercontinental service from the Croatian airport.

The Canadian leisure specialist will operate a weekly service on the route between June 20 and September 12 of next year.

Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad Int'l) has revised its A350 XWB order book converting five A350-900 order slots to larger A350-1000s.

According to Airbus, the revision now brings the Qatari carrier's A350-1000 order backlog to forty-two aircraft with three having thus far been delivered. Qatar Airways has thirty-four A350-900s on order of which twenty-nine have so far been deployed into service.

Indian business charter broker and aircraft management company JetSetGo (Delhi Int'l) has started selling scheduled flights under its virtual brand SkyShuttle by JetSetGo (Delhi Int'l), the Economic Times has reported. The flights are operated by third-party airlines as JetSetGo does not hold an own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC).

Salzburg, Austria, to close for 5 weeks in 2Q19

Salzburg airport in western Austria will close for traffic between April 24 and May 28, 2019, due to runway reconstruction works, Air Transport World has reported.

Air Greenland (GL, Nuuk) has announced it would temporarily adjust its schedule by reducing the number of flights to/from Kangerlussuaq as of October 1, 2018, due to technical problems with the local radio equipment.
