Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin Int'l) is expected to finally go public later this year following several years of political disputes. The Irish government is planning to retain a large minority stake in the carrier. It will lease an additional A320-200 that will be delivered in spring 2007. Aer Lingus will resume three times weekly A320-200 service from Dublin to Milan Malpensa on October 29.

germanwings (4U, Cologne/Bonn) has announced various new routes:
Berlin Schönefeld-St. Petersburg: 2x weekly A319-100 service starting on November 2
Berlin Schönefeld-Zweibrücken: 2x daily A319-100 service starting on September 15
Cologne/Bonn-Belgrade: 3x weekly A319-100 service starting on September 2
Hamburg-Moscow Vnukovo: 3x weekly A319-100 service starting on October 31
It will however give up its Berlin Schönefeld-Oslo Gardermoen route by the end of October.

Air Atlanta Icelandic (CC, Reykjavik Keflavik) has also wet-leased a B747-200F freighter to Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV/Jeddah) in addition to already three B747-300 passenger aircraft. Its single A310-300 is currently operated on behalf of Air Algérie (AH/Algiers) for the busy summer season while Air Atlanta's two only passenger A300-600R aircraft have been wet-leased to Sudan Airways (SD/Khartoum). It has also started operating another B747-200F freighter on behalf of Cargolux (CV/Luxembourg).

Sterling European Airways (NB, Copenhagen Kastrup) will launch three times weekly B737-500 service from Copenhagen to Krakow on September 19 and twice weekly seasonal B737-500 service from Copenhagen to Geneva on December 30. It will however give up its Copenhagen-Madrid route on August 13 and its services from Copenhagen and Oslo Gardermoen to Florence by the end of October. Air One (AP, Rome Fiumicino) has added an additional ex-Air Sahara (S2/Delhi) B737-300. It will continue to operate its Trapani-Pantelleria route until the end of September. Air One has been assigned the Bologna- and Turin-Alghero PSO routes and is expected to start flights on these city pairs in September. It has announced plans to lease A340-300s for its planned long-haul services.

Condor (DE, Frankfurt Int'l) has announced two new routes out of Munich for the upcoming winter season:
Madrid: 5x weekly A320-200 service starting on November 1
Paris CDG: 6x weekly A320-200 service starting on November 1
Condor will however already give up its routes from Munich to Brussels, Budapest, Genoa, Pisa and Prague in mid-September. It has given up its Munich-Turin services last month.
