AviTrans Nordic (2Q, Stockholm Bromma) has been acquired by Sverigeflyg, the parent of regional low-cost carriers Blekingeflyg (Ronneby), Gotlandsflyg (Visby), Kalmarflyg (Kalmar), Kullaflyg (Angelholm/Helsingborg) and Sundsvallsflyg (Sundsvall). Avitrans is operating a fleet of Saab 340 on behalf of several Scandinavian regional carriers including some Sverigeflyg subsidiaries.

Condor (DE, Frankfurt Int'l) will give up its services out of Berlin Tegel, Dresden and Paderborn by the end of October. It will also give up its Frankfurt-Sal route at the same time. Condor has announced two new routes from other bases instead:
Frankfurt-Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen: 3x weekly A320-200 service starting on November 1
Munich-Luxor: weekly A320-200 service starting on November 5

Iceland Express (HC, Reykjavik Keflavik) will operate a seasonal twice weekly MD-90-30 service from Reykjavik Keflavik to Luxembourg between September 28 and November 9. It has announced plans to build an own airport in Reykjavik to launch domestic operations as it is currently not able to operate out of Reykjavik's domestic airport.
