SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) has announced plans to sell its subsidiary Spanair (JK/Palma de Mallorca), its ground handling services unit as well as its minority stakes in Air Greenland (GL/Nuuk) and bmi british midland (BD/Nottingham). It has also announced new routes for the upcoming winter timetable period:

Austrian Airlines News Update

Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) has signed a codeshare agreement with future Star Alliance member Air China (CA/Beijing Capital) to allow its passengers to use Air China flights from Beijing to Guangzhou, Shanghai Hongqiao and Wuhan. It has postponed the launch of its Vienna-Astana route to September 4.

Ocean Airlines (Italy) (VC, Brescia) will add a total of six ex-Air France (AF/Paris CDG) B747-200F freighters in 2007 and 2008. It is going public at the London stock exchange to fund this expansion. Ocean has already announced new routes from its Brescia base to Abu Dhabi, Luanda, Nagoya and Washington Dulles to be launched later this year with the first new aircraft. ,

Brussels Airlines (SN, Brussels National) is planning to codeshare with Jet Airways (9W/Mumbai) on the latter's new Delhi-Brussels-Toronto Pearson and Mumbai-Brussels-New York Newark routes. Jet Airways will in return use Brussels Airlines as a feeder for its long-haul services and its long-term plan to use Brussels as a hub for its India-North America services.
