Volare Aviation (Guernsey) (VLZ, Guernsey) inducted its first B737-700(BBJ), launching its operations on August 13, 2023.
VQ-BTA (msn 29188), a 24.5-year-old aircraft formerly operated by SM Executive Aviation (SMF, Rimini), flew from its base at Oxford Kidlington to Faro and back on August 13-14, operating under Volare Aviation's 'VLZ' code.
Volare Aviation was the first airline to certify in Guernsey when the Crown Dependency began offering its AOCs in 2016. The business charter specialist operates five Bombardier Challenger CL-604s and one Falcon 7X on the 2- register. Its sister company, Volare Aviation (United Kingdom), does not have its own AOC in the United Kingdom and does not own any aircraft.
