Falcon Aviation Services (FVS, Abu Dhabi Bateen) has acquired two Quick Change freighter kits from De Havilland Aircraft of Canada for its DHC-8-Q400s. The Emirati business charter and aviation services specialist will thus enter into a new market segment.

"These Cargo Conversion Solutions by De Havilland Canada for our DHC-8-Q400 fleet will help Falcon Aviation to add another vertical for revenue generation in the coming years, as the unfulfilled demand exists for these operations," Chief Operating Officer Capt. Raman Oberoi said.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows that the airline currently owns and operates three DHC-8-Q400s, each in a standard layout with 78 passenger seats. The QC conversion kit will allow the airline to change the aircraft's role from passenger to freighter and back in a short time, enabling their flexible deployment.

Falcon Aviation Services does not operate any other dedicated freighters.
