ARCA Aviation (Ankara Esenboga), the aviation arm of Turkish military defence systems manufacturer ARCA Defense, has acquired MC Aviation, the local aviation news outlet Airport Haber reported.

The acquisition was confirmed by a March 2025 entry in the Turkish trade register, which lists ARCA Aviation as the sole shareholder of MC Aviation. The ensuing rebranding to ARCA Havacilik is reportedly already underway, with MC Aviation branding removed from the company's 8,500-square-metre hangar at Istanbul Atatürk.

At the time of the acquistion, MC Aviation, which holds a Turkish air operator's certificate (AOC), operated a 14-seat, 20.6-year-old Global Express, TC-FRK (msn 9153). The company's website also lists a Learjet 60XR, TC-KLC (msn 60-395), which has been parked at Istanbul Atatürk since October 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, ARCA Havacilik's website shows a fleet comprising a Global 5000, a Hawker 800XP, a San Marino-registered Hawker 800XPi, and an AW109 helicopter. Unlike MC Aviation, ARCA Havacilik did not hold an AOC as of April 2025, the last time the public register was updated.

ch-aviation research reveals that the three jets listed by ARCA Havacilik were previously operated by Genel Havacilik (Istanbul Atatürk). Of these, the Global 5000, TC-ARC (msn 9308), and the Hawker 800XP, TC-ACA (msn 258456), are now under MC Aviation's certificate. The Hawker 800XPi, T7-ARCA (msn 258736), continues to be operated by Genel Havacilik.

Simultaneously, ARCA Havacilik has added a San Marino-registered Phenom 300E, T7-EWET (msn 50500673), which was first active on April 22 with a flight between Bournemouth, where it was parked since March 17, and Istanbul Atatürk. The 2.9-year-old jet, configured for up to nine passengers, was previously registered in Guernsey as 2-TIJL and operated by Ortac (Jersey), which continues to offer two Phenom 300Es for charter and operates a third privately.
