KF Aerospace, parent of KF Cargo (FK, Kelowna), has completed the conversion of the first of three ATR72-500(F)s to be operated on behalf of Canadian freight forwarder Purolator Courier, and is set to introduce it to service in late June, the company announced in a statement.

C-GKFD (msn 707) flew from Kelowna to Williams Lake on May 26, ADS-B data shows. KF Aerospace will operate the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprop as part of its ten-year contract with Purolator to deliver goods to communities across British Columbia. It will enter into service following the completion of Transport Canada approvals.

The remaining two ATR72-500(F)s are scheduled for completion later this year at the KF Aerospace maintenance facility in Kelowna, with the second aircraft, C-FIJT (msn 736), already on site following an acquisition from ACIA Aero Leasing in February 2025.

The ch-aviation data shows KF Cargo's fleet also includes two B737-600s and one Premier IA.
