Skechers USA (Los Angeles International), the global footwear and apparel firm, has phased out the sole company-owned Global 5000 it operated, ch-aviation research reveals.

The 18.7-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft, N10SL (msn 9221), is configured for up to 14 passengers. Mostly inactive after December 2024, it has completed two flights since - one on January 28 between Long Beach, where it was based, and Miami Opa-Locka, and another on April 15 to Dallas Love Field. It was subsequently deregistered on April 18 and marked as exported to Mexico. The aircraft's future registration and operator remains unknown.

Despite this retirement, Skechers continues to own and operate two additional Global 6000s, which comprise the company's executive jet fleet.

In 2023, shareholders filed a lawsuit against Skechers alleging excessive costs related to the personal use of the company’s aircraft by senior executives for travel to holiday destinations. The case was dismissed in 2024, with Skechers prevailing.
