Cambodia Airlines (Phnom Penh) is set to welcome Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) as its new 49% shareholder after the recent successful conclusion of talks between majority shareholder, the Royal Group of Cambodia, and the Filipinos. According to the PhilippineFlightNetwork, the deal is to be completed by October 15 with PAL to acquire its stake for USD10million. Under the agreement, Royal Group's subsidiary, Inter Logistics Cambodia, will control the group's 51% shareholding.
