Afghan Jet International (Sharjah) is set to take delivery of its first aircraft, a B737-300, ex A6-JMK (msn 24674), formerly with United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare). Skyliner Aviation reports that the aircraft is now dressed in full AJI colours in Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen ahead of its delivery to Afghanistan. Afghan Jet had planned to launch services in June using an E145 to cover Kabul, Bamyan, Chagcharan, Dubai International, Herat, Islamabad International, Kunduz, Mazar i Sharif, Tirinkot, Zaranj and Kandahar flights.
