Eritrean Airlines (B8, Asmara) will codeshare with Swedish virtual carrier, FlyOlympic (Stockholm Arlanda), on the latter's upcoming services to Asmara. In an interview with Eritrea's TesfaNews, Fly Olympic CEO, Akis Kafala, said that an agreement was reached following talks with the CEO of the Eritrean national carrier, Ghebretnsae Petros.
As previously reported, Skygreece Airlines (Athens) will operate a B767-300(ER), SX-BPN (msn 26470), on behalf of FlyOlympic on charter flights connecting London Gatwick and Stockholm Arlanda with Mogadishu and Asmara using Athens as an intermediate stop.
