Fly Eth (Vienna) has suspended start-up plans after its primary backer pulled out of the project. In its report, Austrian Aviation Net said the start-up's plans of operating scheduled services out of various small airports scattered throughout Austria (Klagenfurt), Slovenia (Maribor), Italy's Tyrol region (Bolzano/Bozen), and Switzerland were quashed following the recent departure of Michael Jan, the project's main financier.
It is believed the project had received poor feedback from communities concerned thereby leading to Jan's withdrawal.
