Take Air (Antwerp) has unveiled Belgian aviation firm ASL Group as its new investor and strategic partner. The announcement follows initial partner The Aviation Factory's decision to water down its stake in the European All-You-Can-Fly carrier late last month.

As a result of the change, ASL's subsidiaries - ASL airtaxi (BNJ, Liège) and JetNetherlands (JNL, Amsterdam Schiphol) - will assume Take Air's operational requirements from Abelag Aviation (Brussels National) with effect from September 1.

"Our participation in Take Air is very important for the development of the air services that we offer," Philippe Bodson, CEO of Air Service Liège (ASL), said. "The new concept that launched Take Air is very promising: innovation, comfort and speed all for a fair price. From September 1, 2015, ASL's crew and fleet will be available to ensure Take Air flights between Antwerp and Zurich."
