Centurion Air Cargo (Miami International) is set to begin charter flights to mainland China using a B747-400(F) operated by its subsidiary SkyLease Cargo (GG, Miami International). The announcement comes after the US Department of Transportation (DOT) granted SkyLease exemption authority to operate scheduled cargo flights between the United States and Hong Kong via intermediate points and beyond to points in third countries.

“Centurion Air Cargo is continuing its expansion of Asia-Pacific service with flights to mainland China," it said. “The flights are operated by Centurion’s sister company, Sky Lease, through an exclusive agreement.”

Centurion's Far East Asian operations already include service to Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong International.
