S-Air Salzburg (Salzburg) is on track to commence operations with its first aircraft, a Jetstream 31, currently in Friedrichshafen undergoing repainting into the start-up's livery. OY-SGP (cn 915) is on lease from Flex Flight (W2, Copenhagen Roskilde) and will be joined by another of the same type, OY-ZEA (cn 873).

S-Air has its base in Salzburg, Austria and is backed by local train company Salzburger Eisenbahn Transportlogistik GmbH (SETG).

The airline will primarily operate sightseeing flights with Piper (single piston) PA-32 Saratogas while the Jetstreams will be deployed on charters at a later stage.

S-Air has no immediate plans to offer scheduled services but has not ruled it out for the future.
