YELLOW (Liège) is a Liège-based business aviation start-up looking to use PC-12 turboprops for its initial fleet requirements.
Founders Yves Legrain and Karl Beuken told L'Echo newspaper that they are in the process of acquiring a fleet of three PC-12s in time for a planned April launch. No initial destinations have been revealed but it is assumed the airline will focus on the regional European market. The start-up will offer ad-hoc services as well as a subscription-based model to all prospective clients.
For his part, Beuken says he hopes to replicate the success Switzerland's Fly 7 Executive Aviation (Lausanne) has had operating its own fleet of PC-12s.
