Alphaland Aviation (BIC, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) is planning to branch into the domestic scheduled services sector the Philippines' Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has announced.

In a public disclosure advertisement placed in several Filipino dailies, the CAB said Alphaland Aviation was seeking a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to operate domestic scheduled air transportation services.

It did not reveal which routes the airline was looking to serve.

Alphaland Aviation currently operates scheduled charter flights between Manila Ninoy Aquino International and the private island of Balesin where parent firm Alphaland Corporation maintains a luxury resort. Operations are on-board a single ATR72-500 leased from Royal Star Aviation (MED, Manila Ninoy Aquino International).
