LoloFlights.com (Bournemouth), a virtual start-up carrier trading as FlyLolo, will launch a new route connecting Southampton with Skiathos in Greece, to be operated by flybe. (2002) (Exeter) with E195 equipment, Travel Weekly has reported.

The service will launch on July 3 and will run 1x weekly through October 3, 2018. If the bookings fulfill the carrier's expectations, it will look to boost frequency to 2x weekly for the Summer 2019 season.

Due to load restrictions on take-off from Skiathos, which has a 1,628-metre-long runway, the carrier will only sell 97 out of 118 seats on board flybe.'s EMB-195s.

The service will become Southampton's maiden service to Skiathos. The island is also served from the United Kingdom by Thomas Cook Airlines UK, TUI Airways, and British Airways. Out of these, Thomas Cook Airlines operates most of the flights from Skiathos with an intermediate stop at either Kerkyra or Kavala International.

FlyLolo also sells tickets on charter flights to Tenerife Sur from each of Manchester International and Glasgow International, operated by Air Europa. The virtual carrier focuses on peak season only sales, which includes the summers and the Christmas period.
