Skyways Express (Stockholm Arlanda) has been sold by Skyways Holding to the CEO of the carrier, Lars-Ake Bertilsson for the symbolic price of 1 SEK. It has launched twice weekdaily service from Jönköping to Copenhagen on January 18 using Direktflyg (HS/Borlänge) Jetstream 32s. Skyways will also operate a twice weekdaily seasonal Fokker 50 service linking Stockholm Arlanda and Røros in Norway between January 28 and March 25. It has leased a Fokker 50 from Air Iceland (NY/Reykjavik Domestic) and is operating the aircraft and a second own Fokker 50 on behalf of Blue 1 (KF/Helsinki) from Stockholm Arlanda to Tampere and Vaasa. Skyways has given up its Vilnius-Copenhagen route again in the meantime and has cancelled plans for a further expansion from Vilnius.
