Viking Hellas Aviation (Athens) has not been affected by the difficulties of its former Swedish sister carrier and has added new routes from Cyprus and Sweden to Iraq to its network based on a new joint venture with Iraqi investors called Viking Middle East that is acting as a general sales agents for these new flights: Gothenburg Landvetter-Erbil: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Larnaca-Erbil: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Stockholm Arlanda-Erbil: 2x weekly A320-200 service (already launched) Stockholm Arlanda-Sulaymaniyah: weekly A320-200 service (already launched) It has rebranded its charter operations and is operating these flights under the Fly Hellas brand with the same aircraft. It has added an ex-Star Airways (Albania) (4S/Tirana) A320-200 that also operates in Fly Hellas colors.
