British Airways again eyes Indian partnership

British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) CEO Keith Williams says the airline would consider partnering an Indian carrier to provide it with feeder traffic via its network which currently includes Bangalore Int'l, Chennai, Delhi Int'l, Hyderabad Int'l, and Mumbai Int'l.

Brazil's Gol shows interest in TAP Portugal's privatization

Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) has once more tossed its hat into the circle apropos Lisbon's privatization of TAP Portugal (TP, Lisbon). Lisbon to dispose of 66% stake in TAP's privatization process

TAP Portugal (TP, Lisbon) is to be opened up to private investment once more after the Portuguese government announced plans to dispose of up to 66% of its shareholding in the carrier.

Speaking in Lisbon, Portugal's Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications, Sérgio Silva Monteiro, said up to 61% of TAP will be sold to private investors with 5% reserved for staff.
