AirBlue wet-leases Ukrainian A330-200

AirBlue (PA, Karachi Int'l) will receive a single Airbus A330-200 UR-WRQ (c/n 296) on wet-lease from Wind Rose Aviation (7W, Kiev Borispol) shortly for an initial three month period. AirBlue already has three A321-100/-200 on lease from the Ukrainian operator.

Pakistan's AirBlue to wet-lease three Ukrainian A321s

AirBlue (PA, Karachi Int'l) will wet-lease three A321-200s from Wind Rose Aviation (7W, Kiev Borispol) during the course of this year ch-aviation has exclusively learned.

Broker Balkan Air Aviation has announced that the Pakistani carrier will take delivery of the three aircraft beginning with one in mid-August while the other two will arrive in November this year. A total of three A321s will be operated for AirBlue from then until May 2015.

TAP temporarily wet-leases additional aircraft for July

TAP Portugal (TP, Lisbon) has temporarily wet-leased various additional aircraft for the next couple of weeks. A319-100 TS-IEG (cn 3872) of Syphax Airlines (FS, Sfax) is currently based in Lisbon and operating on the Portuguese national carrier's European network until July 14. The only B737-400 of Calima Aviación (3C, Las Palmas) EC-LTC (msn 25349) is joining it until July 7 having just returned from another wet-lease contract with Cronos Airlines (C8, Malabo).

Pakistan's AirBlue wet-leasing a Ukrainian A320 for summer ops

AirBlue (PA, Karachi Int'l) will wet-lease an A320-200 from Wind Rose Aviation (7W, Kiev Borispol) for the duration of the upcoming Summer high season ch-aviation can exclusively reveal.

The aircraft, UR-WRM (cn 645), has been deployed to Pakistan from now until October this year joining three other A320s and two A320-200 (sl)s used on flights throughout Pakistan as well as to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman.

Tajikistan's East Air wet-leasing a Wind Rose Aviation A321

East Air (EG, Dushanbe) has wet-leased an A321-200 - its first of the type - from Ukraine's Wind Rose Aviation (7W, Kiev Borispol). The aircraft, UR-WRJ (cn 1869), is already in Central Asia and will be returned in late April the Aerovokzal newswire has said. The Tajik carrier also operates two A320-200s, a B737-300 and a B737-400.

Wind Rose says the move to lease out its fleet comes on the back of the Crimean crisis' negative impact on business.
