Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) and Air China Cargo (CAO, Beijing Capital) have agreed to a USD50 million settlement as part of the ongoing Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation suit which alleges they conspired with other air freight carriers to fix the prices of cargo shipments between January 2000 and September 2006.
Air Indus (I6, Karachi Int'l) has leased a pair of B737-800s as it prepares to resume operations following a seven-month hiatus Pakistan's Tribune newspaper has reported.
Grounded in June last year for alleged safety violations, the carrier has already engaged the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PkCAA) to inspect and certify the two aircraft, which are reportedly in Moscow awaiting delivery.
