EcoJet (8J, Cochabamba) is in the final stages of its obtaining its Air Operators Certificate from the Bolivian General Directorate of Civil Aviation (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil - DGAC) and is now on track for an early August launch. According to the airline's general manager, Linder Delgadillo, following the tentative granting of its AOC, it will have to obtain a market operator's certificate which involves public scrutinization of EcoJet's investment plan and route network. Once all is said and done, the carrier intends to offer several daily flights to La Paz El Alto, Santa Cruz Viru Viru and Potosí Capitan Nicolas Rojas using a fleet of leased ARJ-85s.
