Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) will switch its 5x weekly services from Gdansk to Turku, to Helsinki Vantaa over the period June 30 to July 27, 2014. The Hungarian LCC says the move is as a result of runway upgrade works at Turku. As of this post, it is uncertain as to what contingency plans Turku's other airlines - airBaltic (BT, Riga), Finnair (AY, Helsinki Vantaa), NextJet (Stockholm Arlanda), Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen), and SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) - have in place, if any.
