LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (Dortmund) will indeed be adding two ex-SkyWork Airlines (Bern) DHC-8-400s to its current fleet of ten turboprops. Skyliner Aviation says the first aircraft, D-ABQK (cn 4265), was ferried from Warsaw Chopin to Nuremberg on February 23 ahead of its entry into service.
A regional carrier, LGW operates flights on behalf of Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel) throughout Germany as well as to Poland, Sweden, Austria, Russia, Poland, Italy, Guernsey, Jersey, Denmark, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
