BoA - Boliviana de Aviación (OB, La Paz El Alto) will establish its new domestic subsidiary, BoA Regional (OB, La Paz El Alto), during the second half of this year BoA chief executive Ronald Casso has said. Using four MA-60s sourced from Xian Aircraft Company (Xi'an Yanliang), the carrier will serve Riberalta, Guayaramerin, Rurrenabaque, Villamontes, Uyuni, Potosí Capitan Nicolas Rojas, Oruro, Puerto Suárez and other smaller centres.
Casso added that BoA Regional would serve as a feeder to its parent carrier thereby giving Bolivia's more remote regions easier access to international flights.
The first two turboprops are due in early July with the other two due in September and October respectively.
BoA currently offers extensive services throughout Bolivia as well as to neighbouring Brazil and Argentina. Longhaul flights are offered to Madrid Barajas with Miami International to debut shortly.
