Air Canada rouge (RV, Toronto Pearson) is to expand into western Canada to serve a number of predominantly leisure markets from Vancouver International and Calgary to Los Angeles International, San Francisco, Las Vegas Harry Reid and Anchorage Ted Stevens. Flights on these routes, currently operated by Air Canada (AC, Montréal Trudeau), will be transferred to Air Canada rouge beginning this spring, as will flights from Toronto Pearson to San Francisco.

Out of Vancouver, rouge will take over the following Air Canada routes: Las Vegas (April 28), Los Angeles (May 1), Anchorage (May 16), San Francisco (July 1), Anchorage (May 16), San Francisco (July 1), Phoenix Sky Harbor (December 17).

Out of Calgary to: Las Vegas (April 28), Los Angeles (May 1), Phoenix (December 17).

Out of Toronto to: San Diego (March 29) and Phoenix (May 4).

With the addition of these routes, together with its previously announced summer 2014 schedule to Europe, the Caribbean and the United States, Air Canada rouge plans to operate a total of 54 routes, including new service this summer to Barcelona El Prat, Dublin International, Lisbon, Manchester International, Nice and Rome Fiumicino.

Air Canada rouge operates a fleet of B767-300(ER)s and A319-100s sourced from parent Air Canada. By the end of March 2014, Air Canada rouge’s fleet will include four Boeing 767-300(ER)s and 13 Airbus A319s.
