Nok Air (DD, Bangkok Don Mueang) has firmed two of its four Dash 8-400 options with Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) that were part of a 2013 order for two firm-ordered aircraft and four purchase rights. Based on current list prices, the firm order is valued at approximately USD64million.

“With its recent aircraft purchases and newly sealed partnerships, Nok Air is at a crossroad to become a major player in Southeast Asia’s low-cost carrier arena,” said Patee Sarasin, Chief Executive Officer, Nok Air.

The Thai regional carrier also operates two ex-Kingfisher Airlines (Mumbai International) ATR72-500s on domestic flights.
