Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) is to dry-lease five A330-200s from TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas) for eight years to bolster its fleet ahead of the upcoming summer season. One of the aircraft, PT-MVO (cn 949), has already been ferried to Istanbul Atatürk ch-aviation's aircraft database reflects. The added Brazilian metal will also compliment the carrier's other plans to lease in two Jet Airways (JAI, Mumbai International) A330-200s, VT-JWL (cn 901) and VT-JWH (cn 882).

At present, Turkish operates eight A330-200s on flights from Istanbul Atatürk to Western Europe, North Africa, West Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
