Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) has outlined the next round of transfers to its subsidiary, germanwings (4U, Cologne/Bonn), set to occur in autumn of this year.

Airline Route reports that effective September 18, the following Düsseldorf routes will be moved to germanwings: Birmingham, GB, Manchester International, Newcastle, GB and Paris CDG. Effective October 8, Vienna will move while from October 26 London Heathrow, Malaga, Moscow Vnukovo, Naples Capodichino, and Nice flights will switch to the low cost carrier.

An integral part of its SCORE turnaround strategy, Lufthansa's move to transfer all its non-Munich and Frankfurt International traffic to germanwings is aimed at helping the German carrier to recover domestic and regional market-share lost to the likes of Ryanair (FR, Dublin International), Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) and easyJet (London Luton).
