easyJet (London Luton) has begun retrofitting its fleet of A320-200s with sharklets. So far, research shows that five aircraft - G-EZWG, -EZWH, -EZWI, -EZWJ and –EZWK - have already been upgraded into A320-200 (sl)s and have been returned into service. The British LCC has a total of fifty-five A320s in service.

Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) launched its Sharklet retrofit programme in late 2013 and claims the upgrade will lengthen the aircraft’s service life, reduce fuel costs by up to four per cent and increase mission range by up to 100 nautical miles.
