WOW air (Reykjavik Keflavik) will supplement its fleet of three A320-200s, two of which are operated by Bulgaria's Air Via (Sofia), with a first A319-100. In an interview with anna.aero, WOW founder and CEO, Skúli Mogensen, said the aircraft would be wet-leased from Faroese operator, Atlantic Airways (RC, Faroe Islands Vágar), for use in boosting the carrier's European operations.
WOW air is Iceland's only LCC offering flights to sixteen destinations located in 12 countries in Europe. The airline also has plans to offer services to North America in 2015.
