Stobart Air (Dublin International) will base two ATR72-500s, EI-REL (cn 748) and EI-REM (cn 760), out of London Southend for operations under a franchise agreement with flybe. (2002) (Exeter). The turboprops will be used to launch six new routes starting with Rennes, Groningen and Münster/Osnabrück on June 5, while Maastricht, Caen and Antwerp will start on July 3.
In line with expected growth in demand, capacity on the routes will be increased from September 1, resulting in a total of 102 weekly flights on the six new routes. Stobart also continues to operate seven ATR72-600s, two ATR72-200s and an ATR42-300 on a franchise agreement with Aer Lingus (EI, Dublin International) under the Aer Lingus Regional brand.
