Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) has taken delivery of its first two widebody jets following their ferry flight from Lake Charles Chennault, Louisiana last week. Skyliner Aviation reports the two ex-Gulf Air (GF, Bahrain International) A330-200s - cn 527 and 532 - as having been ferried to Belo Horizonte Tancredo Neves, Brazil on June 16. The Brazilian LCC has six of the type on order with three of them to come via leases from the International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC).

As previously reported, Azul will make its international début in December this year when it launches São Paulo Viracopos to Fort Lauderdale International and Orlando International flights. A proposed New York JFK service is due in summer 2015.
