Avianca (Bogotá) is set to add its first sharkletted A321-200 to its Colombian Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) ahead of its planned deployment on domestic flights beginning July 16. The A321 (N669AV, msn 6138) will be used on flights from Bogotá to Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena Rafael Núñez International and Medellín José Maria Córdova. Fellow Avianca Holdings' subsidiaries, TACA International Airlines (San Salvador International), LACSA Costa Rica (San José Juan Santamaría) and Trans American Airlines (Lima International), already operate their own A321s on their own respective AOCs.

In related news, Aviateca Guatemala (GU, Guatemala City) is set to receive its first ATR72-600 shortly with the Aerotransport database showing it to be TG-TRC (cn 1168).
