Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) is set to commence its first international services on December 1 with a daily São Paulo Viracopos to Fort Lauderdale International service. According to a filing with the Brazilian civil aviation authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil - ANAC), Azul has also asked to operate a daily Campinas Viracopos to Orlando International flight effective December 15. Both routes operate onboard an A330-200.
A third route - to New York JFK - is due to launch later next year.
