Jet Time (2006) (Copenhagen Kastrup) Managing Director, Klaus Ren, has rejected Scandinavian media reports that his airline is set to take delivery of twelve CRJ900s currently with SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup).

"There is absolutely no truth to it [the report]. I have been confronted with it several times, but I do not know where it has originated from. For that matter, we haven't had any firm talks with SAS about it," Ren told Denmark's check-in.dk aviation news portal.

The rumours first surfaced in Danish aviation circles given how the Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) aircraft would better fit with Jet Time's business model as opposed to that of SAS. The Danish ACMI specialist has also developed a good rapport with SAS with eight of its ATR72s now in service for the Pan-Scandinavian carrier.

SAS uses its CRJ-900 fleet to connect its Copenhagen Kastrup hub with the rest of Scandinavia as well as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Luxembourg, Kosovo, Croatia, and Lithuania.
