Chautauqua Airlines (Indianapolis International) has put its entire fifteen-strong fleet of E140s into storage following the end of its "American Connection" contract with American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) on August 19.

Research shows the Republic Airlines (Indianapolis International) subsidiary's last four of the type - N371SK, N372SK, N374SK, and N381SK - were used on flights from Chicago O'Hare to Flint, Lexington Blue Grass, Louisville International, Peoria International, Traverse City, and White Plains.

Chautauqua has now become an exclusive E145 operator with all of its aircraft operated on Delta Connection services in cooperation with Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson).

Earlier in July, the CEO of Republic Airways Holdings Bryan Bedford, announced the group, which also includes Shuttle America (Fort Wayne International), would be streamlining its fleet operations in a bid to curb mounting costs. As a result, Chautauqua will be absorbed into Shuttle America by year-end.
