Med-View Airline (Kano) has deployed its widebody fleet onto Hajj charter flights from various designated points in Nigeria to Madinah in Saudi Arabia. The Nigerian carrier currently operates a single B767-300(ER) wet-leased from euroAtlantic Airways (YU, Lisbon).

“We are using at the moment, four airports and we are picking the Eastern people from Enugu, south-south from Port Harcourt Awolowo and Akure, Ekiti from Ilorin and other parts of the south-west from Lagos, bringing the business to the doors of the people from their states and exposing a new trend to their comforts," Managing Director, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, told Nigeria's Leadership newspaper. "We are taking 5'303 passengers in all except other cities outside the West African countries, which we do support."

Following the completion of the Hajj season, Med-View is hoping to commence scheduled long haul flights from Kano and Abuja to Jeddah International and Dubai International in November this year.
