Gulf Air (GF, Bahrain International) will begin a 2x weekly Kuwait to Istanbul Atatürk service with effect from October 2. The flights will operate on-board one of Gulf Air's sixteen A320-200s.
Currently, the route is serviced by Atlasjet Airlines (Antalya), Jazeera Airways (J9, Kuwait), and Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport). It will be Gulf Air's only route not operating from its Bahrain homebase.
