Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International) has taken delivery of its first A380-800 following a handing over ceremony at Hamburg Finkenwerder on Wednesday, September 17. The aircraft, A7-APA (cn 137), is the first of ten on order from the Europeans and will be joined by an additional three by year-end.
The quadjet, which is configured with 517 seats featuring 8 in First Class, 48 in Business Class and 461 in Economy Class, is scheduled to make its debut on flights to London Heathrow and Paris CDG later next month.
