Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) will suspend all São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf operations with effect from November 13 owing to low demand. The move will leave the south-eastern Brazilian seaside town and home of Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) without scheduled service.

Azul currently offers flights from São José dos Campos to Belo Horizonte Pampulha and Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont.

The airport's operator, Infraero, believes the suspension will only be temporary with some services likely to resume during the upcoming summer high season.
