Avia Traffic Company (YK, Bishkek) last week inaugurated the newly reopened Isfana airport in Kyrgyzstan's south-western province of Batken with a weekly BAe 146-200 service from Bishkek. The aerodrome had been closed to allow for an upgrade to its principal runway 10/28.
Avia Traffic is is the largest operator in the former Soviet Republic operating a fleet of four B737-300s and one BAe 146-200 on flights to Russia and Tajikistan internationally and Osh International domestically.
