CityJet (WX, Dublin International) has announced it will terminate its Cambridge, United Kingdom operations on October 25, just five months after it commenced scheduled services there.

"Working closely with Cambridge International Airport, we have taken the decision to discontinue CityJet routes from Cambridge based on shifting customer demand, and scheduling changes for the 2014/2015 winter season," it said in a statement. "Re-scheduling takes place as a normal course of business on all airlines and is nothing unusual. Customers are of course inconvenienced by this and we make every effort to ensure they are looked after."

At present, Cityjet's Cambridge network includes connections to Amsterdam Schiphol and Dublin International.
