Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) is set to sign a twelve-year lease agreement with Changjiang Leasing Co., Ltd. for twelve B737-800 aircraft. The deal is valued at roughly USD1.1billion at list prices with deliveries scheduled for the second half of 2015.
Hainan is a prolific operator of the -800 series aircraft with 99 currently in active service on flights throughout China as well as to Thailand, Kazakhstan, Singapore, and Taiwan.
