Xiamen Airlines (MF, Xiamen) is reportedly considering opening up direct Xiamen to Amsterdam Schiphol flights later next year. Though no specific frequencies or dates have been mentioned, it is highly likely the route will be plied by one of the Chinese carrier's B787-8s.
At present, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) operates the route twice weekly on-board B777-200(ER) metal.
Earlier this year, Xiamen Airlines announced plans to offer direct flights to Nice again offering no hint as to when the flights would start, if ever.
