Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) has announced plans to enter the Greek domestic flights next year. The Spanish budget carrier said in a statement that flights from Athens to Thira Santorini will begin in April 2015 along with services from the Greek capital to Palermo International, Pisa, Bari, and Venice Marco Polo.
Volotea's Greek operations currently consist of services from Italy and France to the leisure destinations of Mykonos, Skiathos, Santorini, Kerkyra, Preveza/Lefkas, Rhodes, Samos, Thessaloniki, Irakleion, and Zakinthos
