Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) has firmed up one of five options available as per its 2007 order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National). The order reflected under the US manufacturer's latest production figures.
With this development, Virgin has a total of seventeen B787-9s on order with four options outstanding. Only one, G-VNEW (msn 40956), has so far been delivered and is currently in use on flights from London Heathrow to Boston.
